About Me
Reyna Berry, she/her
I have always loved storytelling. The arts have been part of my life since elementary school, and I now consider acting, playwriting, and poetry my passions.

Based in Northern Virginia, I am a first year undergraduate student at Oberlin
College in Ohio. I received a Silver Key and several Honorable Mentions from the Scholastic Writing Awards, including for my short play “The Lioness Builds a Sand Castle.” Additional publication includes Reveille literary magazine, ARTEMISpoetry, and The Closed Eye Open. I also wrote a blog post, “What is Voices of Now?”, for DC regional theater Arena Stage in February 2023. As a Mentor artist at Arena’s VON program for the past four years I have co-devised and performed in filmed and theatrical productions.
My new poetry chapbook “days in february” is available fromBottlecap Press! Check it out if you want to see a sample of my writing -- our browse the pages above.
